Objectified, the new film by Gary Hustwit

Objectified is the new film by documentarian Gary “Mr. Helvetica” Hustwit. Objectified comments on and examines our fascination and relationship with three-dimensional objects. Product design is unique in that it’s extremely ubiquitous and incredibly underrated. Most people don’t think about everyday things.
It’s been a while in the making, but the new trailer is out. Tell [...]

Stay Tuned…

You may have noticed that I haven’t posted in about two weeks. Yea, sorry about that. You may also notice that I’ve scaled back the number of posts from previous months where I was posting 22-27 times per month. This is a more conscious decision, but if you were disappointed, again, sorry.

A good time was had by all, and I [...]

In the online world, this usually manifests itself as bookmarking a million sites and organising them all so I can actually search for them later. [...]

Behind the Scenes: Vancouver 2010 identity

You know how I love the Olympics and their associated brand identities, so I was giddy to see this video highlighting the design process behind Vancouvers 2010 Winter Olympics graphic identity. Edited and articulated in that classic wholesome Canadian way, it provides a fresh alternative to the ongoing lameness of press releases.
On a side note, [...]
