WTF Wednesday: Brand Keyboard

Brand Keyboard

Every now and then, the Brand Alphabet emerges. People remark on the novelty of it — how powerful a brand’s wordmark must be so that it is recognised only by the first letter. It’s like spelling with brands. Whoa.

Brand Keyboard

But this tops that. The new Brand Keyboard features not letters, not abbreviated wordmarks, but full-on logos to represent each key. Perfect for someone who is obsessed with brands and/or feels that regular typing is too easy.

I love branding. Clearly. I will also be the first to remark that we go way too far in our obsessions with brands. Give me a good reason why I need to have 30-odd logos on my keyboard 24/7. How does that benefit the user?
