From now on, when I get down on myself for neglecting my blogs, I’ll think of this hard-working guy. Alfred Sirleaf is a blogger, except he doesn’t use a computer. Instead, he records the news on a chalkboard in the center of town. And people read it. Except some of this ‘readers’ can’t read, so he uses symbols. The news must get out, I suppose.

Can we even call this blogging? I mean, web log implies web, and web implies computer. And log implies reading. Surely there must have been a term for this stuff pre-Internet?

Alfred, you put us all to shame, keep up the good work.
