This isn't the first time Pepsico had to hit the undo button on failed re-design courtesy Arnell. The original Mnt. DoOver with it's green wavy bitmapped river, pine trees and aggressively bland layout was pulled shortly after hitting the shelves. I bought one out of utter disbelief and it's sitting at my desk. Apparently this was too great a departure for the brand, because it has been quickly replaced with the nasty little rush job that currently disgraces the bottles. I'm talking about the spiky acute logo that clashes against the obtuse floating mountains. I'd go on, but why spend more time critiquing a design than the Arnell intern spent pushing it out his bowels?
