HOW Magazine Awards

HOW magazine just wrapped the judging for their annual design competition(s). As usual, judges have waded through a cavernous room packed to the rafters with design, and amid the noise and haste emerged a few trends. According to Editor Bryn Mooth:

… some of the trends we’ve seen repeatedly in recent years seem to be on the wane: tiny patterns, cute wildlife, palettes of brown matched with spring green or pale blue, prettiness. … The handmade aesthetic is still strong, but it’s rougher in a deliberate way.
