Internet People
Being a man of the Internet Age, I found this cartoon extremely funny. It’s great to see so much ridiculous pop/geek culture crammed into one video. And in the style of Billy Joel’s “We Didn’t Start The Fire”, we listen with bated breath to hear the references to our favourite geek podcast or website. I reckon I understood about 85% of the references — only because I don’t watch that many videos online. (who has the time? *cough* teenagers)
Most of these are of course references to the last two or so years, but it goes back a bit beyond that. In 20 a few years we will look back and think “what the Hell was that all about”. And I can’t wait.
A note about the design in this video — did you catch those website logos being altered to read “Internet People”? Brilliant.
