Darkie Toothpaste

This morning on Digg, I was made aware of a bizarre and borderline racist brand of toothpaste out of Hong Kong. Apparently, the “Black Man” brand still exists, even though it is owned by Colgate-Palmolive. Do you think most HK shoppers know the racist history of the brand or of racial tensions in America in general?
