My New Favourite Site
As of today, I am officially a freelancer (again). It’s a long story, and one that I don’t really care to discuss on the blog, but it means that I’ll have to change my tactics a fair amount. It’s somewhat scary, as freelancing for me means uncertainly followed by worrying, followed by more uncertainty. Oy.
Luckily, there is a new blog called FreelanceSwitch. I read about it first from SwissMiss, who gave us the heads up soon after the launch. Freelance Switch is quite simply an awesome resource for freelancers, with philosophical tidbits and practical advice for anyone who doesn’t bear the title “employee”. The articles are plain and to-the-point, but also pointed and snarky just the right amount. Good reading, and useful jabber.
