Adobe CS3 Box Art and Pricing

Adobe CS3 is on it’s way. People have already seen the icon system for the next generation of Adobe products, but we haven’t seen the box art, until now.

I’m not sure what I was expecting, but I was pleasantly surprised. Because of the square and somewhat inorganic nature of the icon system, I suspected the packaging would align, but that’s not the case. This is a great example of organic and abstract shapes used effectively. Also, note that the colour scheme has been retained for the specific products – Photoshop is blue, Dreamweaver is green, and so forth. Well done. I also like how the ‘standard’ versions of the suites are white, whereas the more advanced versions are inverted. You have to check out the larger version for a full example.

The story comes from Apple Insider. Also in the article are more details about the pricing structures and the bundled suites.
