My Space: Reloaded

OK, so everyone knows that MySpace. is probably the worst-designed site on the net – especially when you consider it’s massive popularity. In fact, it came in #1 on a PC World Poll of the worst websites. Not surprising.

But what if the site were to be re-designed? What would happen in the most popular site among teenagers and other growing-ups were to finally embrace the aesthetic of Web 2.0? Well, a while back, an entry turned up on DeviantArt where some kind soul has taken the time to do exactly that.

I don’t have any Earth-moving thesis about this project. It’s obviously really clever, but that’s not the point. Instead, everyone should head over to Facebook and sign up. That site is so much tighter and better built and MySpace. I don’t know that’s been such a well kept secret all these years.

By the way, I don’t have a Facebook page, but I do have a MySpace page.

Update: I have a Facebook page. But no MySpace page.
