New York is a very portable brand. One of those I Love NY t-shirts, a statue of liberty, maybe a pizzeria, and you’re all set. And since Americans love outsourcing, I was only mildly shocked to discover that one of New York’s most classic icons, the manhole cover is actually made in India.
